Delete your account
You can delete your Lydia account yourself, at any time, from inside the app.
In the app — instant
- Open the menu
- Tap your email address at the top
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account
The app tells you exactly what will happen to any bands or venues you're part of before you confirm.
What deleting removes
- Your account, your artist profiles, your follows, saved shows and connections. Permanently — there is no recovery window.
- Any band you're the only member of. Bands with other members stay, and one of them becomes the admin.
- Your place on the lineup of any upcoming show. The venue is told the slot is open.
What stays
- Venues you managed. A venue is a real place, and its shows stay on the map. If you were its only manager it becomes unclaimed, so nobody can edit it until someone claims it.
- Shows you posted. They belong to the venue and the night, not to the account that typed them in.
- Safety and moderation records. Reports filed by or about an account outlive it, so deleting an account can't erase the evidence about it. See our Privacy Policy.
No longer have the app?
Send us a request and we'll action it within 7 days. We may email you to confirm it's really your account before we delete anything.
